Lighting Concord
for the holidays.
Union Street is the oldest street in a town founded in 1796, and it behaves like it. Those downtown blocks are historic homes and storefronts on soft older masonry and painted wood, which rules out anything that gets drilled, screwed, or stapled into the face of a building. Garland, wreaths, and a warm roofline run go up on non-penetrating clips sized to the trim, and the work gets scoped around business hours so December shopping never has to walk around a ladder.
Push west and north and Concord becomes a different job entirely. Christenbury and the newer streets off Poplar Tent Road carry the big elevations (long gable runs, stacked dormers, garages set forward), and houses like that are made for one clean line of warm white that reads from the road. Moss Creek’s craftsman homes sit under tree-lined streets, so the roofline is only half the display: trunk wraps up the drive and light in the canopy is what finishes it.
Down on the Mecklenburg line, the Highland Creek area is HOA country, where consistency beats spectacle: matched spacing, one color temperature, no house shouting over the one beside it. That is also where permanent LED earns its place. The strips tuck inside the fascia channel and vanish in daylight, so the street sees nothing change; at night the house runs Christmas white in December, orange in October, warm white the rest of the year, all from your phone. Sixteen million colors, a 25-year warranty, and no ladder in the garage.

Historic downtown and the Union Street corridor set the tone for the whole city in December. Century-old masonry and painted wood do not forgive hardware, so everything there goes up on clips and tension rather than fasteners, and the palette stays warm: garland, wreaths, and a clean roofline run instead of color-changing effects fighting the brick.
Moss Creek is the shaded one: craftsman elevations, tree-lined streets, and amenity areas that light beautifully as a set. Christenbury, on the west side, runs to larger newer homes with the most roofline per house on this end of town, the properties where a permanent LED system quietly replaces a ladder every November. The Highland Creek area sits right on the Concord-Charlotte line and falls on the same run as our north-Charlotte work, and the established streets around the Cabarrus Country Club keep an older look that suits a restrained warm white.
If your street is not named here, it is almost certainly still on the Concord route. Ask at the consultation and we will tell you straight. And if a few neighbors want the same line down the block, say so. A block scoped together is easier to design and easier to schedule.

Cabarrus County fills the same weeks everyone else does: the calendar closes out before Thanksgiving, and the biggest rooflines off Poplar Tent and Christenbury go first because they take the most crew time. Concord questions
Yes. We install across Concord, from historic downtown and the Union Street corridor to Moss Creek, Christenbury, the Cabarrus Country Club area, and the Highland Creek area on the Mecklenburg line. If your street is not on that list it is almost certainly still on our Concord route. Call (704) 326-2024 and we will tell you straight.
Sooner than feels necessary. The install calendar fills before Thanksgiving, and the largest Concord rooflines get scheduled first because they take the most crew time. A free consultation in early fall locks in your date. Permanent LED systems work the other way around. We install those year-round, so the quiet months are the easiest ones to book.
It comes down to how much roofline you have and how far the display goes. Most residential seasonal installations run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, and the larger new-construction elevations on the west side of town sit at the higher end. Permanent LED systems are quoted by linear roofline footage. The on-site design consultation is free and there is no obligation.
Yes. Takedown and storage are included in every seasonal Christmas light package. We come back after the holidays, pull everything down, and store it until next season, no bins in your attic and no ladder in January.
Yes. The homes and storefronts along Union Street sit on soft older masonry and painted wood, so nothing gets drilled, screwed, or stapled into a historic facade. Garland, wreaths, and roofline runs go up on non-penetrating clips and come down the same way, and we schedule downtown work around business hours.
