Christmas Light Installation in Cotswold, Charlotte
Cotswold blocks are established and green: older one-story houses, taller rebuilds beside them, mature trees over both. We design each display to the elevation actually in front of us, plus permanent LED rooflines you run from your phone all year.
Free on-site design consultation, no obligation.
Lighting Cotswold
for the holidays.
Cotswold grew up under its own trees. Stand at almost any intersection and you will see two eras on the same block: original single-story houses with low, wide rooflines, and newer rebuilds standing a storey taller with steeper gables. Lighting them the same way is the most common mistake. A low roofline needs a different design than a tall one, or the street ends up looking uneven.
On the lower elevations the problem is carry. A single eave line at ten feet does not read from the road on its own, so we bring in the front-yard trees (trunk wraps and canopy lighting through the mature oaks) and add porch, column, and doorway detail at eye level. On the taller rebuilds it is the opposite: plenty of roofline, so restraint is the design. One warm color temperature, even spacing, nothing animated.
Cotswold sits between the Myers Park canopy and the Providence corridor and takes something from each. Permanent LED suits the rebuilt houses particularly well: the track goes into clean fascia, disappears in daylight, and never comes down again. Sixteen million colors from your phone, Christmas in December, warm white the rest of the year, 25-year warranty.

What we install in Cotswold
Christmas Light Displays
Custom-designed seasonal displays on rooflines, peaks, dormers, and porch columns, installed with commercial-grade weatherproof product cut to your house. On Cotswold’s mix of low original rooflines and taller rebuilds we size the display to the elevation in front of us rather than repeating one template down the block. Design, installation, mid-season maintenance, takedown, and storage are all part of the package.
Christmas lighting details →Permanent LED Roofline Lighting
Architectural LED strips hidden inside your roofline channel, invisible by day, fully app-controlled at night. Sixteen million colors, programmable scenes for every holiday, and a 25-year warranty. A renovated Cotswold house is an ideal candidate: the track goes into clean fascia and stays put.
Permanent LED details →Trees, Wreaths & Garland
On a one-story house the trees do much of the work. Trunk wraps and canopy lighting lift the display above the eave line, while wreaths, garland, and porch details fill in at eye level where the street actually sees them.
See seasonal options →Commercial & HOA
Neighborhood retail and office frontage, HOA entrance monuments, clubhouses, and common areas, scoped around business hours so nothing blocks a doorway in December. One point of contact, one design, one invoice.
Commercial & HOA lighting →Where we light around Cotswold
Cotswold sits southeast of Myers Park and just north of the Providence corridor, which gives it a housing mix drawn from both: established streets with heavy tree cover, a growing number of rebuilt two-story elevations, and townhome and condo frontage along the busier edges.
Design-wise that means no two consecutive consultations look alike. One house is a wide, low roofline where the trees carry the display; the next is a tall new elevation where the roofline alone is plenty and the job is keeping it disciplined. Both get quoted the same way: a free on-site visit, a design drawn to the house, then a fixed price.
Plaza Midwood to the north and Myers Park to the west get the same crew and the same process, and the Charlotte overview shows how the whole city is grouped. If your street sits on a boundary and you are not sure what to call it, we light it either way.

Cotswold questions
Yes. We install throughout Cotswold and the neighborhoods around it, including Myers Park, Eastover, and Plaza Midwood, and out along the Providence corridor toward SouthPark. If you are not sure whether your street is covered, call (704) 326-2024 and we will tell you straight.
Earlier than you think. Our install calendar fills before Thanksgiving, and designs that combine a roofline with canopy work take the most crew time, so they get the earliest dates. Booking a free consultation in early fall locks in yours. Permanent LED systems are different. We install those year-round, so the off-season is actually the easiest time to get on the schedule.
It depends on the size of the roofline and the scope of the display. Most residential seasonal installations run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. Permanent LED systems are quoted by linear roofline footage. Either way the on-site design consultation is free and there is no obligation.
Yes. Takedown and storage are included in every seasonal Christmas light package. We schedule removal after the holidays and store your lights until next season, so you never touch a ladder.
Yes, and it is most of what we design for on Cotswold’s lower rooflines. A single eave line at ten feet does not carry on its own, so we bring in the front-yard trees with trunk wraps and canopy lighting, then finish with porch, column, and doorway detail at eye level. The roofline still gets outlined; it just stops being the only thing doing the work.
