Christmas Light Installation in Marvin, NC
Marvin is the quiet, low-density corner of Union County beside Waxhaw and Weddington: big houses, long drives, and plenty of dark between them. We design, install, maintain, and take down seasonal displays here, plus permanent LED rooflines controlled from your phone all year.

Lighting Marvin
for the holidays.
Marvin has stayed country in a way most of the places around it have not. Lots are measured in acres instead of feet, houses sit far apart, and the roads between them are dark at night. A lit house in Marvin competes with nothing. That is the good news and the entire design problem at once.
With nothing nearby to borrow light from, a display has to carry the whole frame by itself, so we build it in layers. The roofline sets the outline. Peaks and dormers give it depth. Wrapped trunks along the drive give the eye a path in from the road. Warm white keeps all of it reading as the house rather than as decoration bolted onto the house. On an estate lot the approach matters as much as the roof does, because the approach is how people actually see the property.
The permanent option makes particular sense out here. Rooflines are long, they are high, and putting a crew on ladders around them twice a year is the expensive part of doing it seasonally. A hidden LED channel goes in once and then it is simply there: invisible against the fascia in daylight, sixteen million colors at night, warm white for ordinary evenings, and a 25-year warranty behind it. Waxhaw and Weddington sit right next door and get the same crew and the same design process.

What we install in Marvin
Christmas Light Displays
Full-elevation seasonal displays built for the long, high rooflines Marvin is full of: peaks, dormers, gables, and porch columns in commercial-grade weatherproof product cut to your house. Design, installation, mid-season maintenance, takedown, and storage all included.
Christmas lighting details →Permanent LED Roofline Lighting
Architectural LED strips hidden inside your roofline channel, invisible by day, fully app-controlled at night. On a large estate roofline this is the version that spares you the annual ladder work. Sixteen million colors and a 25-year warranty.
Permanent LED details →Trees, Wreaths & Garland
Trunk wraps and canopy lighting down long Marvin driveways, plus wreaths, garland, and porch detail at the house. On an estate lot the approach carries as much of the display as the roof does.

Entrance monuments, clubhouses, and common areas for Marvin's communities, plus commercial work scoped around business hours so nothing blocks a doorway in December. One point of contact, one design, one invoice.

Marvin's character is set by its lot sizes: long private drives, deep front yards, mature trees left standing where a denser subdivision would have cleared them, and houses with enough roofline to make a serious display possible. That is a different scope of work from a standard suburban front (more linear footage, more elevation, more time on the day), which is why estate properties are worth booking early in the calendar.
It also means the neighbors are not part of the composition. In a tight neighborhood we design so a house sits well beside the ones on either side. In Marvin we design so the house works alone, viewed from a couple hundred feet of approach. Brighter, longer, and simpler tends to win at that distance. One clean, unbroken warm-white line beats a busy display every time.
The village sits right against Waxhaw and Weddington, so a Marvin visit usually falls on the same route as work in either one. Estate lots there and estate lots here get the identical process: a free on-site design consultation, a fixed price, and a firm install date before the calendar closes for the season.

Marvin questions
Yes. We install throughout Marvin, from the newer HOA communities to the larger private lots along the roads that connect them, and we run the neighboring Waxhaw and Weddington streets on the same routes. If you are not sure whether your street is covered, call (704) 326-2024 and we will tell you straight.
The earlier the better on an estate lot. Our install calendar fills before Thanksgiving, and the longest, highest rooflines are scheduled first because they take the most crew time. A free consultation in early fall holds your date. Permanent LED systems install year-round, so the off-season is the easiest time to put one in.
It depends on the size of the roofline and the scope of the display. Most residential seasonal installations run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, and a large estate roofline with driveway trees sits at the upper end of that range. Permanent LED systems are quoted by linear roofline footage. Either way the on-site design consultation is free and there is no obligation.
Yes. Takedown and storage are included in every seasonal Christmas light package. We schedule removal after the holidays and store your lights until next season, so you never touch a ladder.
That is most of what Marvin is. We wrap the trunks along the drive, light the trees framing the approach, and carry the design from the road up to the house so the property reads as one composition instead of a bright roof at the end of a dark lane. All of it is quoted from the same free on-site visit.
