Lighting the Providence
corridor.
Providence is a corridor, not a subdivision. It is a long line of established neighborhoods strung along one of Charlotte’s main southeast roads, running from the older streets near Myers Park and Cotswold out toward Matthews. What they share is a settled quality: full-grown yard trees, brick and siding elevations that have been maintained rather than replaced, and HOAs that care how the street looks in December.
That last part matters more than people expect. On a corridor, the entrance is the display. A lit monument and a pair of wrapped trees at the neighborhood entry set the tone for every house behind them, and when entrance and homes share one color temperature the whole subdivision reads as intentional. We quote HOA common areas, clubhouses, and entrance monuments exactly the way we quote a house: a free on-site visit, then a fixed price.
House by house, the corridor runs to two-story family elevations with real roofline length, which makes permanent LED a straightforward call for anyone tired of the annual ladder. The strips hide inside the fascia channel and vanish in daylight; at night the scene comes off your phone. Christmas in December, orange in October, warm white the rest of the year, sixteen million colors, 25-year warranty.

What we install in Providence
Christmas Light Displays
Custom-designed seasonal displays on rooflines, peaks, dormers, and porch columns, installed with commercial-grade weatherproof product cut to your house. Corridor elevations run to two-story gables and long eave lines, so we measure the whole roofline before pricing. Design, installation, mid-season maintenance, takedown, and storage are all part of the package.
Christmas lighting details →Permanent LED Roofline Lighting
Architectural LED strips hidden inside your roofline channel, invisible by day, fully app-controlled at night. Sixteen million colors, programmable scenes for every holiday, and a 25-year warranty. On the corridor’s long family elevations it is the version that stops the yearly ladder for good.
Permanent LED details →Trees, Wreaths & Garland
Trunk wraps and canopy lighting for the mature yard trees along the corridor, plus wreaths, garland, and porch details. The trees flanking a neighborhood entrance get the same treatment, sized to match the houses behind them.
See seasonal options →Commercial & HOA
HOA entrance monuments, clubhouses, pool houses, and common areas along the corridor, plus street-facing retail and office frontage, scoped around business hours so nothing blocks a doorway in December. One point of contact, one design, one invoice.
Commercial & HOA lighting →Along the Providence corridor
The northern end runs against Cotswold and Myers Park, where the houses are older and the tree canopy heaviest: canopy work and warm classic lines, restraint over spectacle. Move southeast and the neighborhoods get newer and the lots more uniform: consistent two-story elevations, clean fascia, HOA streetscapes where one matched design down the block beats five competing ideas.
Between the two ends you get the everyday version of Charlotte lighting: a family house with a good roofline, a couple of trees worth wrapping, and a front door that deserves a proper wreath. It is the most common brief we design, and the one where getting spacing and color temperature right does the most work.
Quail Hollow and SouthPark sit west of the corridor, Matthews picks up where it ends to the southeast, and the Charlotte overview covers the rest of the city. Same crew, same design process, whichever side of the line you are on.

Providence corridor questions
Yes. We install throughout the Providence corridor and the neighborhoods on either side of it, including Cotswold, Myers Park, Quail Hollow, and SouthPark, and out to Matthews at the southeast end. If you are not sure whether your street is covered, call (704) 326-2024 and we will tell you straight.
Earlier than you think. Our install calendar fills before Thanksgiving, and HOA entrances and common areas need the earliest dates because they set the tone for every house behind them. Booking a free consultation in early fall locks in your date. Permanent LED systems are different. We install those year-round, so the off-season is actually the easiest time to get on the schedule.
It depends on the size of the roofline and the scope of the display. Most residential seasonal installations run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. Permanent LED systems are quoted by linear roofline footage. Either way the on-site design consultation is free and there is no obligation.
Yes. Takedown and storage are included in every seasonal Christmas light package. We schedule removal after the holidays and store your lights until next season, so you never touch a ladder.
Yes. Entrance monuments, clubhouses, pool houses, and neighborhood common areas are quoted the same way as homes: a free on-site design consultation, then a fixed price. One point of contact handles the whole property, and matching the entrance to the color temperature used on the houses behind it is what makes a corridor neighborhood read as one design.
